Sators, touring professional and RoadOps founder

About Sators

Founded by a touring professional and former Master Tour developer.

Sators has been touring and working gigs since 1999 as a tour manager, production manager, audio engineer, and production coordinator across everything from smaller groups to global international acts.

After becoming a father, in 2016, he stepped off the road and joined Master Tour, where he worked full time through 2022 as lead developer and later VP of Engineering, helping lead the dev team and rebuild the MT3 desktop platform.

After a brief hiatus, he went on to build RoadOps, an independently developed touring platform designed for modern tour workflows.

He still works gigs today, which means RoadOps is informed by current touring pain points and the real needs of today's tour managers, not just memories of how it used to work.

FAQ

Quick answers for touring teams evaluating RoadOps.

Why should I use RoadOps over other competitors?

RoadOps is built for touring operations by experienced touring professionals: offline-first creation/editing, fast imports, clear visibility controls, and push notifications with view status—so teams stay aligned across phones, tablets, and the web. Other solutions have difficult apps or lack mobile creating and true offline capabilities, which can lead to confusion and delays on the road.

Does RoadOps integrate with TripIt?

RoadOps supports emails being forwarded directly to . This will automatically import what you forward to the last team you selected in the app - forward itineraries from the booking agent, flight/hotel confirmations, travel grids from your agent, etc.

Is my data safe and secure?

RoadOps is built with security in mind and runs on AWS infrastructure. All data is encrypted in transit. Regular backups are performed to prevent data loss.

How reliable is RoadOps?

RoadOps is designed to be dependable on the road: offline-first editing when service drops, and cloud sync when you’re back online.

What if I have an idea for a feature?

We love hearing from you! Email us at support@roadops.app with your ideas and feedback.

What minimum devices will RoadOps work on?

RoadOps works on modern iPhones, iPads, Androids, and the web. For web access, use a modern browser (latest Chrome, Safari, or Edge).

How does billing work?

Billing is based on team size, and each team will need a subscription as the team size grows beyond the free tier. This pattern is intended to keep collaboration simple, including unlimited admins and unlimited read-only members for each team. You can retrieve all historical data even if you scale back your team size later. Receipts are provided for all payments and you can add a billing contact to receive a copy of receipts.

Can I belong to more than one team at a time?

Yes - you can belong to as many teams as you need, and be a mixmatch of admin/members across different teams. Each team pays for the numbers of members in the team, so no separate individual subscription for you is required.

How many admin seats does each team get?

A team can assign as many members as admins as your team plan overall size allows. For example, for a free team of five or fewer members, you can assign admin permissions to all five people or just one. RoadOps does not charge extra for additional admins.

Is there a desktop version?

Yes. RoadOps is available in the MacOS app store for silicon based/newer Macs, and the web app works on desktop browsers.

Will RoadOps work internationally?

Yes. RoadOps supports time zones and is built for teams touring across borders. Language support currently includes English, Spanish, and French.

Who do I contact for support?

Reach us by email at support@roadops.app, by phone at +1 615-694-2470, on WhatsApp, or via a ticket at support.roadops.app and we’ll get you sorted out as quickly as possible.
